Dividend year - datatypes (DY10)

Composite datatype to retrieve core data for dividends paid in the last 10 years.

The data displayed starts from the dividend payment date that is most recent to the user request date. Please note, dividend payment announcements are typically forward looking in nature, to ensure any future dividends are captured the request should have a future end date.

The number of years retrieved can be modified up to 10 years, available datatypes: DY1, DY5, and DY10

The table below lists the dividend fields retrieved, the number indicates the chronological order of the dividend- 1 = latest dividend paid, 2 = second latest dividend paid etc.

HYR	Half yearly
INT	Interim
MTH	Monthly
QTR	Quarterly
RST	Restricted dividend, not payable to all shareholders
SPL	Extraordinary payment
UND	Undefined
YR	Yearly

Where two or more payments fall on the same day for a security and the dividend types are different then the dividend type will be CMB to indicate a combination of types.

The number of dividends displayed per year can be restricted to a specified number\ by appending D* to the datatype, for example to retrieve the last 3 dividends paid for the period requested the datatype becomes DY10D3.

Dividend payment information is also available as a timeseries in 2 possible formats, 1) timeseries based on dividends where the payment date is most recent to the user's request date, 2) timeseries based on dividends where the ex-date is most recent to the user's request date.
