TRAC Refinitiv Classification Scheme (RCS) Code
TRAC returns the Refinitiv Classification Scheme (RCS) code, the RCS is the Refinitiv devised classification scheme for financial instruments.
The RCS code is also available in the TRAD datatype
The RCS offers a more granular classification to the Datastream classification TYPE, see illustration below for Alphabet:

Note, the RCS was added to Datastream coverage in 2013 hence the classification will not be available for any instruments delisted before this date. The Datastream classification TYPE is a mandatory item.
