Shares Issued – datatype (NOSHIS)

The total amount of shares that have been issued, includes treasury shares.

NOSHIS is expressed in thousands.

For the primary Datastream share type see NOSH, if the share definition for NOSH is Issued Shares then NOSHIS will not be populated. NOSH is the measure used to calculate market value.
