Number of shares in issue – datatype (NOSH)

The total number of shares outstanding for the security expressed in thousands. NOSH is the default share type used to calculate Market Value (MV).

NOSH is a timeseries datatype, with history reaching back to the listing date of the security. Used as a static datatype NOSH will retrieve the latest number of shares.

NOSH is updated on the share tranche issue/buy back effective date, and on the ex-date of a corporate action.
