For strategic holdings considered to be held by active shareholders see NOSHST, expressing strategic holdings considered to be held by passive shareholders – for example “benchmarks” its assets against stock indices (such as the S&P 500, Russell 1000, etc.) and allows external factors to determine in which sectors and regions they make investments.

For strategic holdings considered to be held by active shareholders see NOSHSA.

NOSHSA and NOSHSP should sum to NOSHST, a +/- 1 is possible due to rounding.

NOSHST is a component of the Datastream free float data set, a comprehensive breakdown of a company’s ownership that uses a 5% holding threshold criteria.
