Coverage Flag – Datatype (COV)

 

COV indicates the data coverage of a security, possible values are:

 

R - Indicates primary quote and the security is available at research level. Adjusted pricing data and corporate actions.   

F - Indicates primary quote and the security is available at full research level. Adjusted pricing data, corporate actions and Worldscope Fundamentals.

L - Security is a secondary quote, coverage will replicate that of the primary quote

C - Security only supported with Worldscope Fundamentals data, no pricing or corporate actions. Indicates unlisted security.

E - Security supported at unadjusted pricing level, no adjusted pricing data or corporate actions. Worldscope Fundamentals data may exist.

W - Security created for index compilation purposes only, no pricing or corporate actions.

D - Quote is delisted. Research data remains available. 

G - Quote is delisted, COV value prior to delisting was E. Unadjusted pricing data remains available. 

Corporate Actions data includes capital events, dividends, number of shares and market value.

ETCs, ETFs and ETNs are supported at research level however number of shares may not be supported.
