Using dates within functions

You can use five possible date formats with functions:

• Actual dates
• Default dates
• Maximum and minimum dates
• Time period dates
• Displacement dates

With functions which take two date parameters empty parameters can be entered such as for example AVG#(X,-1Y,). However, if the second date parameter is a date, the first date parameter cannot be empty. It cannot be of the form GRLS#(X,MIN,YRE) either but has to be a date such as for example GRLS#(X,-3Y,YRE).

Note The dates you use must also be compatible with the program display period.
