Calendar functions - overview

There are fifteen calendar functions for average, sum, and value calculations, which cover five fixed time periods: week; month; quarter; half year; year. They are:

Calendar weekly value (CFW#)

Calendar monthly value CFM#)

Calendar quarterly value (CFQ#)

Calender half year value (CFH#)

Calendar annual value (CFY#)

Calendar week average (CWA#)

Calendar month average (CMA#)

Calendar quarter average (CQA#)

Calender half year average (CHA#)

Calendar year average (CYA#)

Calendar week sum (CWS#)

Calendar month sum (CMS#)

Calendar quarter sum (CQS#)

Calender half year sum (CHS#)

Calendar year sum (CYS#)

Values are given for complete periods only. Any incomplete periods between the start and end dates you specify are ignored. For example, calendar month average (CMA#) calculates data for complete calendar months. If you specify a start date of the 15th of the month, values from the 15th to the last day of that month are ignored and the effective start date is the 1st of the following month.
